I see art as a force to innovate and advance the society.

As a survivor of violence, I use art and storytelling for mental health advocacy, empathy building, aiming to bust stigma and create momentum for social change. I practice trauma-informed approach in my interactive installations and audience journeys.

I founded AUSN to attract solo-artists of all creative disciplines who share passion for social innovations. I develop multi-disciplinary art projects for member artists to participate, collaborate, experiment, innovate. My drive is to showcase how art can introduce new perspectives on social issues and empower the audience to take action.

Japanese meditative arts practitioner

I run weekly Flowwa mindfulness art workshops for all levels from beginners to Certified Flowwa Facilitator programs. 

Who am I?

Bring a passion for art and mental health and combine it with the latest science, engineering, and technology to bring amazing ideas to life. 

I studied mechanical engineering, a natural progression from a childhood curiosity of pulling things apart and building things.  

I have been part of a number of artist groups for interactive exhibits for exhibitions and festivals, along with working on various virtual reality projects combining machine learning, voice, and avatar expressions and is always looking for ways to push forward the field of virtual reality.

I want to help build teams of artists and technologists to solve real world problems. By having cross discipline teams, we can solve complex problems by using new perspectives. I can help and guide others who do not have a technical background into achieving the outcomes of their projects.

Working as an engineer on transitioning technology and energy reduction, to help move our society from fossil fuels to sustainable energy sources. However being an environmentalist does not stop me from enjoy my thrill seeking, with a side hobby of building fast personal electric vehicles.

I'm the Treasurer of AUSN Inc. and one of the founding members.

Passionate, strong willed and determined advocate of highly sensitive people globally including Hikikomori. Video gaming since the age of two, I have lived experience of being a Hikikomori, I’m now spreading my wings to improve my social skills and help Hikikomori and others alike who come after me do the same.  I love connecting with people and especially unique types.

I’m entry level HR administration experienced with some creative writing pieces up my sleeve, so I’ll support the operations team with marketing and outreach. My primary aim is to be strategic partner to Japan, understand their culture and facilitate cross-cultural collaborations.

Bachelor of Business (Human Resources & Marketing) degree qualified, I’m a Recruiter passionate to catalyse engaged, high trusting and performing cultures in the corporate arena through my recruitment work and ongoing self-education on psychology.

I’m a serial-entrepreneur and a recovering perfectionist, talking mostly about my personal and professional journey from perfectionism to embracing chaotic creativity and achieving innovations on my blog and social media. I have completely healed from mutism and OCDs, so I write about my healing processes as well as my preventative methods for recurring PTSD too.

I’m a composer, producer and audio engineer based in Melbourne, with over 10 years of experience working in the Australian music industry. I have been nominated for awards and worked with a variety of artists and film-makers. Award nominations include ‘Best Jazz Artist’ (2016, 2019) and ‘Best Avant-garde Artist’ (S.A.M Awards, 2016, 2019)

Ivaylo Ivantchev aka Ivan Evans. Finished Academy of Fine Arts- Sofia, Bulgaria, major Graphic Arts. Worked in the area of illustration, graphic art, animation, storyboard and concept design for the last 32 years.

Graphic designer from Korea with over 14 years of experience in the advertising industry, living and working in different parts of Australasia.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in modern design and how this works with emerging media. My global experience across a variety of industries brings a forward thinking approach to design solutions. Some of my favourite projects have included launching "Ssangyong" in Vietnam, an industrial design studio in Korea “2inAsia” and working with E&S trading on their digital expansion.

Who am I?

Teaching and botanicals are my passions and I feel fortunate to be able to bring the two together with Ambiance Today, my design company. Nature has always been my muse and is reflected in my work. Having a background in pottery and fashion design gives my work a different edge.

My educational background include a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Syracuse University, NY and a Professional Diploma (PD) from the University of Hawaii in Secondary Art Education. A member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).

Publications include the cover of 2008 “Flora” magazine, Vol. 8 Issue 4 and an article in the 2016 issue of “Florists’ Review.” Several of my designs can be found in the floral wedding book, Rene’s Bouquets for Brides published in 2011 by internationally known designer René van Rems, AIFD.

​VR allows people to be themselves without the weight of
social norms and pressures from their daily lives. Thanks to VR social spaces being "weightless", hard-to-have conversations can happen. This is really good for therapy and mental well-being.

Who am I?

Over the last year I've become obsessed with building beautiful, socially inclusive and functional VR spaces for communities, events and individuals. I pride myself on my ability to work from the ground up, from modelling and texturing to shader programming, lighting and sound design.
